And, more importantly, why this newsletter exists.
And, more importantly, why this newsletter exists.
I spent a decade in management consulting (Deloitte, Accenture, and Oracle). I was good at it. But I was also miserable.
My first attempt to leave consulting didn't work. My first business failed and I had to crawl back to consulting. That failure taught me something: escaping is easy—staying out and thriving requires a paradigm shift and frameworks to follow.
Now I run Consultant Exit, where I've helped 200+ consultants land roles at companies like Google, Amazon, Salesforce, and beyond.
I also document what I'm learning along the way in my businesses.
I write this newsletter because I wish someone had told me all of this earlier. The career stuff. The business lessons. The systems that actually save time.
If any of it helps you skip a few mistakes, it's worth it.

This newsletter is like a breath of fresh air
The best thing I read all week
Finally, a newsletter that respects my time
I've made career decisions based on insights from this newsletter

I've unsubscribed from everything else
Always the highlight of my inbox

Somehow always relevant to exactly what I'm working on
Like having a brilliant friend filter the internet for you
I forward this to my team every week
Like a personal research assistant in my inbox
Worth every minute it takes to read
The only newsletter I open immediately

Changed how I think about information consumption
My secret weapon for staying informed
The antidote to information overload

I've stopped reading Twitter and just wait for this instead

Consistently thoughtful and never obvious
Makes me feel smarter in every meeting
Quality over quantity, finally
Better insights than most paid consulting
I get more from these 5 minutes than hours of news scanning
The signal in a world of noise

My thinking has evolved because of this newsletter
The perfect balance of practical and thought-provoking
The newsletter equivalent of a power nap

The stuff I wish someone told me earlier.
You'll only get emails worth reading. Unsubscribe any time.
