What we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it removed.

Last updated October 27, 2026

Who we are

Second Ladder is a tech recruiting firm. This page explains what we collect on secondladder.com, why, and what you can ask us to do. Questions go to team@secondladder.com.

What we collect

When you send us your resume, we collect your name, email, the kind of role you want, your LinkedIn link if you add one, and the resume file you upload. We also record the date and the country the request came from. When you join the Taylor waitlist, we collect your email address. If you email us, we keep the message and your address.

How we use it

We use your details to read your resume, match you with roles, contact you about them, and tell you when Taylor is ready (if you joined the waitlist). We share your resume with a hiring company only after we have spoken with you. We do not sell your information.

Where it is kept

Resumes and waitlist emails are stored in private storage with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. They are not public. Only the Second Ladder team can open them.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set cookies and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and page requested, to run and protect the site.

How long we keep it

We keep a resume until you ask us to delete it, or until we decide it is no longer useful and remove it. Waitlist emails are kept until Taylor launches or you ask us to remove yours.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or stop us contacting you, at any time. Email team@secondladder.com from the address you used and we will act on it.

Open roles

Our open roles are listed on a separate jobs site run by our recruiting software provider. It has its own privacy terms.
